Every inbound call, outbound call, SMS thread, and voicemail lands in the same inbox. Each conversation carries a recording, a full transcript, an AI summary, and a structured outcome. Unknown callers are identified before the conversation lands in the inbox. The first row shows the caller’s name, company, and role rather than an opaque phone number, populated by the enrichment layer in real time. Typical hit rate on US business callers is around 85%.

What you see

Real-time updates

The inbox is live. New conversations appear without a refresh, and active calls stream a live transcript as they happen. Push notifications route to your phone for events you mark important.

Transcripts and recordings

Every call generates the following automatically:
  • Full audio recording. The complete conversation, encrypted at rest.
  • Transcript. Text with speaker labels and timestamps.
  • AI summary. A one-paragraph summary of what happened and what was decided.
  • Outcome. Structured: booked, transferred, voicemail, escalated, and so on.

Recording controls

  • Playback speed. 0.5×, 1×, 1.5×, 2×.
  • Skip silence. Jump past pauses.
  • Download. Save the audio file.
  • Share. Send a link to a teammate.

Accuracy

Transcription is high-accuracy but not perfect. Proper nouns (names, businesses) and industry-specific terms occasionally need review. Heavy accents can be misheard. You can edit a transcript if it matters for your records.

Privacy and retention

Recordings are encrypted at rest. Retention is configurable (30 days, 90 days, 1 year, unlimited). You can delete a specific recording on request, and export your data at any time.
Recording laws vary by state and country. RevDesk can announce “this call may be recorded for quality purposes” at the start of every call. Configure in Settings → Compliance.

Best practices

Skim new conversations once a day. Watch for questions the AI couldn’t answer and add the answers to your knowledge base.
Build a simple flagging system. Red for urgent follow-up, yellow for review.
Internal notes you write today save your future self time when the same contact calls back.
