Getting Started

Most businesses are live the same day. Add your business info, connect your calendar, and you’re ready to take calls.
No. RevDesk is designed for business owners, not developers. If you can describe what you want in plain English, you can use RevDesk.
Yes. Get started at revdesk.com/trial for a 14-day RevDesk Sandbox with one test number, verified recipients, and a $20 hard allowance. Conversion preserves configuration while removing test activity by default.
At minimum: your business name, what you do, and your business hours. You can add more detail later.

Phone Numbers

Yes. You can either forward your existing number to RevDesk, or port it over entirely. Most businesses start with forwarding.
Contact sales for phone number pricing by type (local or toll-free). Most businesses only need one to start.
Yes. Add as many as you need for different departments, locations, or marketing campaigns.
Yes. Pick any available area code, or get a toll-free number.

It will acknowledge that it doesn’t have that information, collect the caller’s contact info, and let them know someone will follow up. You get notified immediately.
No. If asked directly, the AI will always be honest about being an AI assistant. However, it won’t randomly announce it unless relevant.
Yes. Define rules for when transfers happen (emergencies, VIP customers, specific requests), and the AI will transfer accordingly.

Calendar & Booking

No. The AI checks your real-time availability before offering any time slots.
Yes. Create different booking types with different availability rules.
No. We only check if times are busy or free. We never read event details.

Pricing & Billing

RevDesk is configured by physical location, enabled systems, telecom, expected usage, and implementation needs. Onboarding and your final quote show the commercial lines that apply. See the current pricing page for available plans and offers.
Additional minutes use the volume rate stated in your quote. There is no mid-conversation service interruption, and usage remains visible in the dashboard.
Your quote and billing view show the plan, enabled services, included usage, and applicable overage or add-on charges. Contact support before enabling a service if its billing unit is unclear.
Workspace administrators can manage agents that are available for the enabled product. Review the confirmation shown in the app for any billing or effective-date change.
Yes. Annual software prepay is available. Your quote shows the annual benefit and keeps phones and usage on a monthly cadence.

Features & Integrations

RevDesk documents supported connections for HubSpot, Zoho CRM, and LeadConnector, plus Zapier, webhooks, and the public API for custom workflows. Settings → Integrations shows what your workspace can connect. See Integrations.
Yes. Get real-time notifications via email, SMS, Slack, or webhook.
Recording and transcription depend on the call path, workspace configuration, applicable law, and enabled product. When present, authorized workspace members can open them from the call or conversation record.
Yes. Customize greetings, scripts, and specific responses. You can also add custom prompts to guide AI behavior in specific situations.

Security & Privacy

Review Security for current encryption, access-control, subprocessor, retention, and compliance information.
Access is limited through workspace permissions and the service providers required to operate RevDesk, as described in the Security and canonical privacy documentation.
Available deletion and retention controls depend on the record and workspace policy. Contact support for a request that is not available in the product, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.
RevDesk supports eligible HIPAA workloads under the required configuration and agreement. See HIPAA & BAA coverage before using protected health information.

Troubleshooting

Check that:
  1. Your phone number is active
  2. Forwarding is set up correctly (if using existing number)
  3. Your account is in good standing
If issues persist, contact support.
Review your knowledge base for the incorrect information and update it. Changes take effect immediately.
Verify your calendar is properly connected in Settings → Integrations. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.
Check your notification settings in Settings → Notifications. Also check spam folders for email notifications.
