# Giphy

> Add GIFs to your RevDesk booking pages and confirmation messages for a more engaging experience.

Add animated GIFs to your booking confirmation pages and messages. Make your customer experience more memorable and engaging.

## What it does

* **Booking confirmations** - Add celebratory GIFs when appointments are booked
* **Reminder messages** - Include fun GIFs in reminder notifications
* **Custom pages** - Use GIFs on your branded booking pages
* **Search library** - Access millions of GIFs from Giphy

## Use cases

### Appointment confirmed

Show a celebration GIF when booking is complete:

* "You're all set!" with confetti animation
* Service-specific GIFs (thumbs up, checkmark, etc.)
* Brand-aligned animations

### Reminder messages

Make reminders more engaging:

* Friendly wave GIF in reminder emails
* Calendar animation in SMS reminders
* "See you soon!" animated stickers

## Setup

    Choose appropriate content level (G, PG, PG-13)

    Select where GIFs should appear

## Content ratings

Control what GIFs are available:

| Rating | Content type                  |
| ------ | ----------------------------- |
| G      | Family-friendly, safe for all |
| PG     | Mild content, generally safe  |
| PG-13  | Some mature themes            |

Recommended: **G** for business use.

## Where GIFs appear

Enable GIFs on:

* **Booking confirmation page** - After appointment is scheduled
* **Confirmation emails** - In the appointment confirmation
* **Reminder messages** - Optional fun addition
* **Custom booking pages** - Your branded landing pages

## Customization

Choose GIF behavior:

* **Random from category** - Different GIF each time from a theme
* **Specific GIF** - Same GIF always (by Giphy ID)
* **Search term** - Random from search results (e.g., "celebration")

## Requirements

* RevDesk account
* No Giphy account required (uses Giphy API)
* No additional cost

## Troubleshooting
